The mission of the Student Success Center (SSC) is to provide comprehensive programs, holistic services, vital information and community resources to empower students and support their academic, career and life goals.
The SSC was created to reduce potential barriers to academic achievement in a positive, healthy and meaningful way. Beyond education, the SSC equips students with the necessary tools to expand their skills, talents and abilities so they may compete in the world of work and build long-term success.
The SSC is a safe, secure and welcoming center for student organizations, tutoring sessions, study groups or just a fun place to relax. Located on the 2nd floor of the Main Campus, the SSC space is designed for comfort and ease and is conducive for all members of the SAC community.
Students can access a wide variety of helpful resources through their individualized CANVAS accounts or Campus Connect. SSC services include the Career & Transfer Center, Tutoring Center and the Virtual Library. The SSC serves students, alumni and the wider community
Career and Transfer Center (CTC)
The mission of the Career and Transfer Center (CTC) is to provide professional and personalized academic and workforce support services to St. Augustine students and alumni.
Students can explore their passion, engage in career development, find employment, reflect on their skills and establish strategies to further their education or career goals through a wide variety of tools and activities. Students develop an individualized strategy to embark on the next step of their journey.
The CTC also provides services to students who are considering transferring to other institutions in pursuit of their career goals and to fulfill their life goals. The student’s Learning Facilitator will assist with creating an academic plan to support a successful transfer.
